Come From Away is a heartwarming musical that tells the true story of how the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, welcomed 7,000 stranded airline passengers during the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. The story begins with the townspeople of Gander learning about the attacks and the subsequent closure of U.S. airspace. As planes are rerouted, the local community springs into action, preparing to host the stranded passengers. The musical captures the confusion and uncertainty experienced by the travelers as they await information about their flights and safety.
