He conducted a $1,000,000 restoration of the property that included replacing all plumbing, wiring and heating. The Martine Inn is now furnished with period antiques ranging from 1800 à 1920. Don Martine has been interested in MG’s since his dad purchased a 1949 MGTC in 1950. Don worked on the car and drove the vehicle during his high school years. Depuis lors, he has restored, raced, shown and accumulated quite a few vintage MG’s. Five or more vehicles are usually on display at the inn for guests viewing including old gas pumps, posters and equipment.
