Monterey 4th of July Parade
Monterey’s annual 4th of July Parade is a must-attend celebration that draws approximately 15,000 people of all ages to line the streets in and around Old Monterey. We invite you to join us and revel in the festive floats, patriotic displays, entertaining costumes, and musical bands. The parade begins at 10am sharp.

City of Monterey’s Big 4th of July Celebration & Backyard Food Fest 2023
The City of Monterey’s Big 4th of July Celebration and Backyard Food Fest will be held on the historic grounds of Colton Hall on Monday, Julho 4, 10:4505:00 am-. This is free, all-ages fun!

Old Monterey Marketplace and Farmers Market
The Old Monterey Marketplace and Farmers Market is held on Alvarado Street every Tuesday, 4pm-7:00, featuring local produce, artes, and food vendors. We’re open rain or shine. Carmel by the Sea Farmers Market
The Market features local certified organic fresh farm produce, eggs, plants, fresh cut flowers, and specialty items such as olive oil, hummus, pizza and bread. Green Waste Recovery provides a yellow food scrap bin for compostable items and Sustainable Carmel is often onsite to answer any question regarding composting and recycling. Community Groups can also be seen at the Market working to improve local issues, as well as those with a larger impact.

First Friday
Come celebrate the weekend with Monterey Museum of Art on Pacific Street with extended hours every First Friday of the month, 5pm-7:00, for ages 21 and over only. Enjoy fine art, música ao vivo, and wine. $5 suggested donation.

Motoamerica Superbike Speedfest at Monterey

Monterey Festival da Cerveja
The Monterey Beer Festival brings over 80 beers from dozens of breweries from 12:30 p.m. para 5 p.m. at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center. You’ll have the chance to taste unusual offerings from major beer companies as well as fantastic beers from unknown brewing companies from around the world! What’s beer without great music and good food? This year the Monterey Beer Festival hosts live music from ‘The All In.’ Local food vendors from throughout the area will also have tasty booths at the Monterey Beer Festival.

AHRMA Classic Motofest of Monterey
Vintage road-racing motorcycles, off-road bikes and even Flat Track competition is coming to Monterey. From 1920s-era hand-shifter V-twins to booming Grand Prix single-cylinder machines and the wildly popular side cars, the paddock, track and surrounding hillside will be bustling. This is something you definitely have to see and hear to believe! There’s fun for fans of off-road racing as well, with vintage trials competitions and cross-country racing.

Rodeo Carnival
O Carnaval estará de volta na cidade para o 2023 California Rodeo Salinas and is presented by Joy-Per’s Shoes & Clothing. Jr. Naturalist & Conservationist Clubs Summer Event – Bird Banding
Join Amanda Preece of Monterey Audubon to experience the art and science of bird banding! Participants will work collaboratively with one another, gaining skills and hands-on experience in field identification and bird banding methods. Participants will learn to handle, properly identify, band, and record scientific information to be added to a continent-wide data set to evaluate multi-scale bird population trends.

Kiddie Kapers Parade
Thousands of people line the streets of the Salinas City Center to watch over 1,200 children ride on floats, bikes, in wagons and more as a kick off to Big Week and the California Rodeo Salinas.

Big Week Bull Riding
O 2023 Big Week Bull Riding will take place Wednesday, Julho 19, 2023. This event is presented by Salinas Valley Ford and features non-stop bull riding action with some of the top bull riders testing their skills in an arena close to the main grandstand. This bull riding event will be part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s Xtreme Bulls Tour.

Twilight Cycling
What cyclist wouldn’t enjoy the thrill of a challenging 300-foot climb followed by an awe-inspiring descent? How about the fact that they can do this on a world-renowned race track? Twilight rides allow cyclists of all ages and experience levels the thrill of pedaling WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca’s 11-turn, 2.238-mile course. The ride is highlighted by the legendary Corkscrew that drops 59 feet in just 450 feet of track length. Please note that helmets are required. Track will be open to riders as soon as the renter is off track, and there is a $10 entry fee for each rider.

Cowboy Shoot Out Golf Tournament
The California Rodeo’s Larry Balentine Memorial Cowboy Shoot Out Golf Tournament will be played at The Club at Crazy Horse Ranch at 475 San Juan de classificação Road, em Salinas. Coors Banquet Bull X-ing
Open during and after each performance of the California Rodeo Salinas and the Professional Bull Riding, the Coors Banquet Bull X-ing is the place to be to enjoy the social aspect of these events. The tent features live music each day (see the times and bands below) and a mechanical bull. A $25 cover charge applies Wednesday and Friday nights; No cover charge Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. Deve ser 21 or older.

Califórnia Rodeo Salinas
The California Rodeo Salinas will take place July 20th-23rd, 2023 with two night and two day performances. A Califórnia Rodeo Salinas é um dos principais 10 professional rodeos in the US out of over 600 and the largest rodeo in California. With over 110 years of tradition and a little bit of something for everyone, it’s an event you don’t want to miss.

Horse Parade
The first horse parade made its way down Main Street Salinas in 1911. It was led by James R. Hebbron and consisted of a sixteen piece band and about 100 horses ridden by local ranchers. Em 1938 the parade showcased a record 1,000 horses! Hoje, the parade consists of mounted Sheriff’s Posse, competitors, various riding groups, color guards, drill teams, Júnior & Senior riders and Charro and Charra riding groups. The horse parade is a tradition that you definitely want to experience. Entries are taken each year for participants from near and far.

Mutton Busting
The mutton busting event at the California Rodeo is a crowd pleaser and takes place on the track daily. Excited little buckaroos ride sheep in front of our crowd hoping to make the best ride and come back on Sunday to compete for the championship belt buckle.

Museum Movie Night
Join us for a special movie night at the Museum! Members get reserved seating at this fun event! Your ticket buys you entry, your a beverage of your choice, and an item from the concession. Stay tuned to find out what movie we’ll screen and get tickets aqui!

Moss Landing Antique Street Fair
Moss Landing becomes the antique capital of the world every year on the last Sunday in July with the Moss Landing Antique Street Fair. Sobre 200 antique vendors will set up booths on the streets of Moss Landing, selling antique furniture and every kind of vintage item imaginable from 7:30am-4:30pm.

Julho 16 – 20
Escocesa Jogos & Celtic Festival
Pipes, drums and pageantry are essential to the Monterey Scottish Games & Celtic Festival. Watch as pipe bands, drum majors and individuals compete to be the best of the best in their categories. There will also be a special contest in Scottish Highland Dancing. Athletes from around the globe converge at the festival to compete in the Highland Games. Events include a caber toss, weights for distance, weight over the bar, heavy hammer, open stone putt, braemar stone putt and sheaf tos. There’s also a special “Children’s Glen” where kids can participate in several downsized versions of these athletic activities.
