Largest Ever Jo Mora Cartes Exhibit at adjacent Stanton Center
Monterey History and Art Association’s Stanton Center and Theater is pleased to unveil a new exhibit, “Jo Mora: Cartographer,” the largest collection of Jo Mora’s Cartes ever displayed. Twenty-two cartes created by beloved artist Joseph Jacinto Mora (1876-1947) are now on display, including Mora’s “Seventeen Mile” carte, which has recently been re-dated to 1935. Highlights of this exhibit, curated by MHAA Board Member, Scott Gale, in association with Jo Mora expert, Peter Hiller and historian Neil Hoteling, also include four versions of the carte, “Evolution of the Cowboy,” and three versions of the “Yosemite” carte (black and white and two color). The exhibit will run through August 31, 2025.

PacRep Presents Legends of Rock Greatest Hits Tribute Concert

It’s our annual limited run of the Legends of Rock N Roll Tribute Concert and we’re back in the Golden Bough Playhouse. Featuring tribute performances from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, re-created live on stage! Audiences can groove along as PacRep’s tribute artists play the night away! Staged by Director Stephen Moorer, the concert features PacRep favorites Davitt Felder, Lydia Lyons, David Schulz, Travis Poelle, Scott Free and Musical Director Don Dally on lead guitar! 40 classic hits will be recreated live onstage, including hits by Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Linda Ronstadt, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and the Mamas and Papas!

Jerry Takigawa – Award-winning photographer with works in major museum collections. Natalia Poehner Corazza – Muralist exploring connection and vulnerability through mystical landscapes. The Farmer’s Market at Old Monterey Marketplace
The Old Monterey Farmers Market, established in 1991, comprises of 3 ½ city blocks and runs year-round rain or shine. You can travel the world in just three blocks, finding arts and crafts, handmade jewelry, furniture, clothing, international food, organic produce, flowers, and pastries. Our produce vendors come from all over California, from Salinas and Watsonville, to Fresno and Sacramento, selling Certified and Organic Certified produce. Arts and crafts vendors come from around the world, selling treasures from Africa, Colombia, Mexico, Russia, Japan, China, and Yugoslavia, just to name a few.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
One of the most exciting events on the PGA TOUR, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is contested annually in front of thousands of spectators and millions of television viewers on three of the Monterey Peninsula’s premier golf courses: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course.
